An interesting picture hosted on sankaku complex showing the different forms of the female figure over the years. Is it more shapely now then ever, or is it just a return to an old form?

I think it is kind of interesting that it took like 20 years to get back to a similar form as Dirty Pair

Actually I think this is more of a continuity in the female form than evolution as most of the images are pretty similar. The one feature each share is the short torso and wide hips, the 2003's are the only figures to look more proportional. To me that's pretty cool, like how the Egyptians managed to keep the same art style for 2000 years.
