I banged out a quick shoot with a couple of Zero's figures yesterday. It was midday so I was fighting a bit with reflected sunlight adding a bit of unwanted color cast to the first shoot but thankfully it tamed down by the second figure.
This is definitely a cute figure of Mio but I didn't do her proper justice. The resultant shots were functional but not great. In retrospect, a background other than radioactive red might have been a better choice:

Rika's shoot came out much better. The sun had tamed down and the backdrop color was a bit tamer:
More pictures of both figures are on Flickr. _________________ Anime Collection ~ Figure Gallery |

I don't know if it's the photo or the figure, but there's something about Rika's mouth that's off-putting. Or is it just me? _________________ "Matter flows from place to place, and momentarily becomes you. Some people find this thought disturbing. It does look a little strange now that you mention it. It was only a 25 dollar fig, so I am not suprised that it does look a little off. _________________

Wow, then the odds are very good that she met her own original box! The pics of her in front of it were only so-so. If I'm ambitious maybe I'll try to salvage the one decent one. _________________ Anime Collection ~ Figure Gallery |

Just you. I think it's a rather cute smile. It's a challenge to represent a 2D character in 3D and I've seen a lot of mouths translated poorly. This one is hardly offensive. _________________ Anime Collection ~ Figure Gallery |
